Now I know that I am not the only victim here. i live in a rural area of homes.Most sitting on one or more acres. Plenty of room to own and care for pets. I have for sec=veral months now been awaken by a medium size sounding dog barking like crazy. Now this starts anywhere from 2:00 am and goes until well after the sun comes up. Not consent barking just periods of barking then silence then more barking. It is not as load now with the windows closed but I still hear this dog with the window closed. Many of nights I think to myself I am getting up and walking our neighborhood to find this beast. I have thought of calling the township . But without being real sure where the dog is. Do I bother . I have walked during the day just knowing I would recognise that bark to no ad-vale. I am sure the poor thing is sleeping as it must stay awake all night and bark.
My next complicate is the owners of this dog must know he is barking like crazy all night. Why do they not get out of bed and bring the dog in or at least quite him? Maybe they are sound sleepers? I will give them the benefit of doubt.
Long story short. Your pets must be your responsibility This dog story has me not thinking highly of the owners. they may be the nicest people on earth but have left me thinking not so much.As we move closer and closer to our neighbors we must make sure not to infringe on their space. This means keeping the dog quite in the middle of the night.It makes you a better neighbor..
