Rockwall Animal Adoption Center

Rockwall is a City known for its caring and generous heart!  Rockwall is made up of a varied mix of residents brought to the area for the lifestyle opportunities, availability of homes in all price ranges, the Rockwall Independent School District, Lake Ray Hubbard, the easy commute to Dallas and the friendly hometown attitude of the people.  

In short, Rockwall is about people!  Many Rockwall residents express their generous hearts by volunteering.  Rockwall has a multitude of volunteer opportunities and there is a volunteer program or volunteer organization available for almost every age and every interest.   Giving back to others and the community is almost a way of life for many Rockwall residents and the City of Rockwall strongly supports this attitude of gratitude by providing unlimited volunteer opportunities. 

The Rockwall Animal Adoption Center provides opportunities for all ages to get involved.  Adults, juniors and youth are encouraged to learn more about this outstanding and worthy volunteer opportunity.  A printable 21 page Volunteer Handbook is available here.   This books contains the mission statement for the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center as well as complete details about volunteering including exactly what the duties of volunteers are.

The Youth Program at the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center is an excellent way to introduce young people to having a caring heart through volunteering and perhaps opens the door to a life long love of animals.  A child learns by example from the volunteering adults in their world.  People in Rockwall County of all ages enjoy getting involved with the Animal Adoption Center.

Barbara, my kids laugh that every time I see a stray I want to take him home. I've done that a few times, then rehome them. Dogs in particular have a way of stealing our hearts. Nice localism post and it should be helpful to many who love animals.
