Well it sounds like the Christmas spirit is alive and well in Clark County.  It is so nice to read these type of stories in the rain. A

Beautiful picture of you, my friend.  And there is NO WAY that Mimi would spread Christmas Cheer if she sang out loud for all to hear LOL

Alexandra, Thanks for your visit and I too love reading and writing these postive holiday stories.

Mimi - ha ha. I'm with ya on the singing out loud for all to hear. :) Our buddy Kris inspired me to do a seasonal profile pic.

Hi janeAnne - Glad you approve of the photo - annual Christmas letter shot. (minus the antlers)  ;)  Yeah, I sing too - even though I probably shouldn't.

DJ - Looking good in wearing your Christmas cheer :)  Indeed Boy Scouts are a great organization and we all should pitch in and help them when we can.  Buy a tree or two or three.

Debb,

I could not at first find your blog under my subscriptions as you changed your picture. Good picture and fits the season : )

I always enjoy reading about Boy and Girl scout activities as they usually involve some type of excellent community work. Bravo to the scouts for this tree program. Hopefully several families who would not be able to afford a tree can now get one.

I sure hope people who really need it get the trees. Often you see people take these even if they don't really need to, just because they are free.

Q-man - this is a good program and it's actually a local credit union that gets most of the props here...although, the Boy Scouts are making it happen too. Good to see you.

Ha ha. Sorry, Bob - didn't mean to throw you off...just got inspired to do a little holiday makeover. :) Yep - the Scouts and Columbia Credit Union are doing a good thing -

One reason I wanted to write this post is to help remind people to use it for folks who really need some assistance...as Todd mentioned #7. It's a shame to see folks who can afford to buy their own tree using this instead of passing it on..so, let's hope we all do the right thing.
