Sleighbells, answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Sherwood, OR. 12/7/11

It looked like a couple of people knew where last weeks Where is it Wednesday.. Oregon Convention Center, answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Portland, OR 11/30/11 , but didn't want to give it away. Each week I'll be posting a new picture on Wednesday morning(ish). The title of the blog will have the City where the picture is taken and I'll post the answer Wednesday evening...not only here on my blog, but on facebook business page (please click like and add yourself there) as well as tweetin it on my Twitter page. Remember, you're free to google or use whatever there is on hand.

 

Hint: The name of this place is the same as something kids might hear when Santa's flying over the rooftops.

Sleighbells in Sherwood is ready for the Holidays all year long. Following the signs off of 99W and then off of SW Chapman Rd., the last thing you would expect is to drive down this long narrow dirt road...but once you see the toy soldier at the gate house, you know you've arrived.

This old home is just crammed with ornaments and holiday items...and even has a great Halloween section. You do need a warning though...plan on spending some time here if you're the kind of person that has to look at everything! I ended up buying a Christmas plate to take goodies to others and some rocky road fudge.

Like Debb said, there is a place for parties to rent, and during this time of year, this is one of the destinations to get your special tree or wreath.

Hi Debb, It was so foggy when I was there yesterday, that I really couldn't get some good pictures of the trees, but did see a Mom and kids disappear up the steps with my guess of tagging one. Love your holiday look!

Cindy, Debb and I know where it is and WE always used to get OUR tree there.
