Wellington Equestrian- Welcome Equestrians From Around The World
Welcome back to Wellington for the 2011 Equestrian season here in the Wellington- The Polo Capital of the world and the Equestrian place to be in the winter months! We are so looking forward to all the new competitors coming this year to join in the Hunter Jumper events and the Wellington Dressage events. Of course, we can't wait to participate in the tail gate parties having fun enjoying the Sport of Kings- Polo!
This year it is my goal to get some great video and a lot more photos of the gorgeous horses that will be competing in all the Winter Equestrian Festival events.
The Wellington Classic Holiday Challenge is happening this weekend at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center at 7500 Forest Hill Blvd. This will be combined with a Toy For Tots benefit.
This event is for the USDF Qualifying Competition/ Great American. There will be USDF Introductory level and musical freestyles, the USEF Level 2 competition and the USEF first through fourth level competitions.
Also during this event there is the FEI PSG through Grand Prix which will also include FEI musical freestyles. You will be in for a big treat watching the FEI 5 and 6 year old tests.
January 6th - 8th is the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge 1. This is just the start of a fabulous Wellington Equestrian season.
January 11th opens the Winter Equestrian Festival with competitions and activities running through April 1st, 2012.
Join us Saturday nights starting at 6 p.m. for the best of the best in Equestrian competitions here in Wellington- The Equestrian Winter Capital of the world.
Wellington Polo kicks off on January 8th, 2012 with a full season of amazing sport competition. The International Polo Club of Palm Beach in Wellington is kicking off the Polo season with the Herbie Pennell Cup.
