‎'Tis the season for hot chocolate, snow flakes, lights and Christmas decorations! For Realtors staging homes for open houses this holiday season, try throwing in some holiday cheer! Adding candles that smell like baked goods or Christmas trees is an elegant touch as well as a fresh wreath and ribbon. If you're looking for some budget friendly ways to decorate your homes for sale or even your own home, here are some wonderful ways to do it.

Lynn, I forgot the candles.  I think I have several put away in the pantry.  Thanks for the tip.

I try not to use candles that need to be lit in order to add good odors ... there are so many other ways now that are safer. Candles are beautiful, but then I like to tuck one of those evaporation stick things (what ARE they called), or even a little jar full of those gelatin oil ball things (I'm batting 1,000 today trying to think of the names of things ... yikes! Hopefully you'll understand.)

I know exactuly what you mean! I love candlelight personally and I think it adds a homely glow, but I'll have to try your "thingy" method at my next open house :) The more input the better
