December's Season of Celebrations and Sharing:  37th Annual Brooksville Christmas Parade

Unquestionably, one of the most cherished holiday events in Hernando County is the annual Brooksville Christmas Parade!

This year, the Christmas parade will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2011.

This is a popular event for the whole family so come early to get a good viewing spot along the route!   Don't forget your camera to capture some great photos of marching bands, floats, clowns, horses, and of course Santa!

The parade begins at 10 am downtown Brooksville at Oakwood Drive near Hernando High, proceeding down Howell Avenue to Main Street and continuing North on Broad Street.  

The Brooksville Christmas Parade is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville with many local clubs and organizations participating.
