Charlotte NC Homes for Sale--3506 Twelvestone Court is Sold

Yesterday we closed the sale at 3506 Twelvestone Court in Charlotte NC. Charlotte NC Homes for Sale This was one of the most satisfying closings that I've ever participated in.  The sellers were able to shed the burden of this property after several years of trying to work with their bank on a loan modification.

After the bank refused to modify the loan, the sellers requested permission for a short sale.  The short sale eventually was pre-approved by the bank with a sales price that was attractive to buyers.  We got the property under contract quickly with the approved price. 

The short sale agreement with the bank did not allow any seller-paid closing costs.  The home buyer who purchased the home was able to use a North Carolina down payment assistance program for first-time home buyers to keep her expenses of sale low.

As we worked through the contract-to-closing process, we negotiated the inspection and appraisal hurdles.  As we cleared each hurdle, we celebrated that we were another step closer to our goal.

Yesterday's closing was the final step in the process.  The result:  a very Merry Christmas indeed for these Charlotte NC home sellers!
