Christmas Toys For Tots

By
Real Estate Agent with Watson Realty Corp.

I heard on the news this morning, that someone went to the layaway area of a store and asked to pay for someone’s layaway items. Then asked the clerk to make sure it contained toys. I thought this was a unique way to help a parent in need this Christmas. For, you could possibly assume the likelyhood that the person is not well off or is wisely not using credit to purchase the items.

There are so many ways to give back including Toys For Tots. This year our office is a collection site for the first time and next year we look forward to contributing to the cause again.

Ellen, i was looking for a different way to make someone's Christmas better and that is a wonderful idea...our town hall's social help office still has a list of families that have had it rough this year....toys for tots is one of my favorite...i keep hoping someone with a gold coin will drop it off in the Salvation Kettle at the local Stop & Shop...be well

Ginny, It's awesome how we inspire each other. This is the first year I have not called Greens Florist in Wickford in 20 years to send my mother Poinsettias. Perhaps the social help office is an avenue for me to explore.

An inspiring story, Ellen.  Truly a Secret Santa.  It is that time of year - opportunities for giving abound.
