Hosting Open Houses Every Weekend
I just finished updating my goals and business plans for next year; therefore, on Day 6 of the December Blogging Challenge I am working to improve and update all my open houses on the weekends for 2012. I have decided to concentrate on more open houses in the luxury homes communities, since one of my goals was to get awarded that Luxury Homes designation, ALHS. I am already planning to host an Open House this coming weekend in the 500K price range in one of our upper end communities.Since many open house prospects are future business, I also wanted to increase my conversion rate with these consumers too. In addition to the 8 by 8 followup plans that I have for by Open House prospects, I have added a 12 direct campaign for direct mail or emails to start following my 8 weeks of contacting them. Adding newsletters and marketing reports to this 12 direct campaign will keep these open house prospects interested in utilizing my real estate services.
To have successful open houses, you must have a plan to Drive Traffic to your Open Houses. Early preparation is the key with the right amount of advertising and marketing efforts. That’s why I normally start of Tuesdays every week for my weekend open houses. My online marketing and blogging to all the Social Media sites will be up and going by Thursdays every week prior to my open houses. These efforts have produced some nice turnouts on the weekends. You have to get the word out there if you expect anyone to show up.
