After 23 years as a real estate broker, this one thing has never changed;The way for any real estate agent to be successful is to continue to prospect!

 

I have found it interesting that even in this soft market, the agents who continue to market their services through advertising, calling their sphere of influence, checking in with past clients etc. have continued to be successful.

 

While others have whined about the slowness of the market a few agents continue to work hard and are as busy as ever.

 

Some things never change!!! 

 

It seems to me, that one of the keys to any agent’s success is his mindset and his attitude about working.  I have seen many successful agents doing large volume of sales in spite of the economy.  It is fun to see that some real estate agents do get it and continue to work hard.

 

In Sandy, Utah the real estate market continues to be soft with respect to sales prices in general, but for the agents who stick with their plan, there will be homes to sell and buyers to help.

Well said, we have to keep prospecting for new business and touches base with our old clients to let them know that we are still working in the industry.  If they don't here from us they will assume that we have left real estate and call someone else.
