The Perfect Social Media Networking Marketing Plan: Step One
Review and Evaluate ALL Social Connection Sites
Most of us are "Incomplete" when it comes to being "Socially Acceptable".As good as we may think we are, we usually fail to complete and empower Profiles, consistently participate in and utilize ALL of our Social Connection Sites.
A good way to begin the review and evaluation process is to your name and determine which of your Social Sites rank on the first Ten Pages. Create a list in the order that each site appears. The site with the highest Google Ranking is where you begin, or is it?
Warning: Don't be surprised if the Highest Ranking for YOUR NAME is YOUR GOOGLE PROFILE. Wouldn't you suspect that Google likes Google and other affiliated sites like YouTube?
Here are MY Top Ten Ranked Sites:Richard Yates - Google Profile
RichardYatesRealEstate.com MY #1 Preferred Site
Richard Yates: Active Rain Profile
Richard Yates: Facebook Business Page
Richard Yates Youtube Video MY #2 Preferred Site
Richard Yates: ColdwellBanker.com Profile
Richard Yates: LinkedIn Profile
Richard Yates: Realtor.com Profile
Richard Yates: Flickr PhotoStream
Note: Because I share the same name of a popular author that wrote Revoluntionary Road, which was also made into a popular movie by the same name, I needed to add Real Estate after my name to get the last 7 of My Top Ten Ranked Sites. Do what YOU need to do, to find YOUR Top Ten Ranked Sites. If you can't find 10 sites within the first 10 pages of Google, find as many as possible. At this time, identify the one or two sites where you prefer to have people find you. These sites may NOT be on your Top Ten List. For Me, it's RichardYatesRealEstate.com and My YouTube Channel. Every other site should be considered as a "Pointer" to your designated preferred sites. These secondary sites serve the purpose of "ATTRACTING" Prospects and are gateways to YOUR Preferred Sites.
Make certain that ALL secondary sites have correct contact information and links to YOUR Preferred Sites.
I still have work to do on MY Sites and this is only Step One. Would you like to learn about Step Two?
Recommended Sites to JOIN and Prioritize in addition to YOUR Websites and Blogs:
ActiveRain: Focus on Profile and BlogFacebook: Focus on Personal and Business Pages
Google: Focus on Profile and Participation
LinkedIn: Focus on Profile, Connections and Recommendations
YouTube: Focus on Profile, Channel and Uploading "Good" Videos
I Teach by Example and Share what I Learn.
