Last evening the fifth annual "Coats & Cocktails" event was held at the Sycamore Club House in Danville. The main purpose of the party is to collect coats during this time of year for those in need. While we don't experience some of the freezing temperatures other areas of the Country endure, we do find the temperature dipping into the low 30s.
By 7 PM the room was packed with real estate agents, lenders, title reps, inspectors and just about anyone related to our local real estate community.
This is the collection truck at the beginning of the event and by the end of the evening it was full of coats and the barrels were brimming with food.
It is heart warming to see so many people coming together give to those in need and to celebrate the Holiday Season.
