Motivational Power Quote
The Golden Rule of Sales
“Internalize the “Golden Rule” of sales that day,
all things being equal people will do business with
and refer business to those people they know,
like and trust.”
Bob Burg, author and speaker
As I see it . . . . . . .
The golden rule of sales
It’s not always the fastest horse in the race that wins, it the horse that runs the best race that wins
It’s not the slickest salesperson that make’s the sale nor is it the sales person with the gift of grab that crosses the finish line first.
In fact slick and fast taking as not only seen its day and no longer acceptable behavior nor will be tolerated by consumers.
People will do business and refer people to the professional that they know, like and trust and two out of three will not work.
Successful business is based on relationships by putting the customer’s needs above our own. When the customer knows that we care about them we create the foundation for building rapport with the customer and from that rapport we create the common ground for trust and confidences.
From the foundation of rapport we create the golden rule of sales of trust and confidence.
