Tears Come easily this season....

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

man crying  We went to a holiday celebration...great company, super food....it is a vendor's party and we meet new people every year at this annual gathering.  I only learned in the last year that one of the owners of this company was someone I went to college with and we have renewed....and reviewed acquaintances many times over the last 12 months.

A gentleman with a limp came over to us with eyes blurred with tears..."I know you don't remember me....my wife and I talk about you often...you are the Realtors who do short sales...I had a stroke this year...and it has been hard..."

The stories are hard to hear....the tears flow and the hardships spill out between sobs...and we try to be as comforting as we can while we listen to their story.

This party won't be the place to discuss their next financial move....we are doing that later at their home. We understand and have heard so many stories....the divorce, unemployment, serious illness....and many times a combinaton of problems. A short sale gives people the opportunity to start over....and we are happy to help them do that.

Know that no matter where you are in the country...you can call us and we will find someone qualified to discuss the options you have to get past the hardship and move on to to a new life..one financial step at a time.

That is the difference between being a professional and a salesperson.  A professional realizes that this is a service industry and helping others is the bottom line.

Sally & David it seems as Conrad said bad things do happen to good people.  There are times when bad people get away with it but it does come back to get them eventually

Good morning Sally and David,

What you do for people is commendable. Short sales are difficult and need to be done by those Realtors who understand and know how they work. My hat is off to you professionals who have a heart as big as Texas!

Sally & David,

With tears on my sleeve from reading your post, you gave me a reason to stick it out, no matter what. We are making a difference and you are both doing so much good for people in WI and to all those you touch, event through Social Media.

You've been in the business a long time - doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, priests or religious counselors - we are a combination of them all with just a different type of license. We take care of people's basic needs - housing and helter.
