Seek not abroad, turn back into thyself for in the inner man dwells the truth.
- St. Augustine.
Life can feel unkind sometimes,
We do almost everything within our power and things still don’t work out.
Why is this so?
That’s a question we often don’t know the answer to, but sometimes if we are patient, life has a way of unfolding itself to us.
The question is...
When things don’t go exactly as planned, what do you do?
Do you…..pout
Do you....cry
Do you…..scream
Do you….stay calm
The choice is yours!
Choose and choose well!
My thought: Search deep within and focus on improving instead of looking externally to blame others. Life is an ongoing learning process of continually improving one’s self.
Remember: Seek not abroad, turn back into thyself for in the inner man dwells the truth.

5 Comments on Do you lose your cool easily?
Wandanna: I am pretty proud of the fact that I can always be counted on during a crisis. About the only time I "lose my cool" is when the air-conditioning breaks down. <impish grin>
Nice message Wandanna! I must admit, it took me a while to learn how to maintain my cool. These days, it takes a lot more to ruffle my feathers than in the past. But then again, as Karen Anne stated above... if the AC goes out ... I'm probably going to lose it! :-)
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for stopping by.
Maintaining one’s cool is kind of like building muscles, you got to exercise to become strong.
Have a wonderful weekend!
