Adrain-every year the crowd of volunteers gets bigger and the number of wreaths placed is larger. The word is getting out on this great project.
Pete-it's evident that there are those who never forget and come to help make sure there is a small thank-you during the holidays.
Vince-people come from all across the country to particpate in this event. It's amazing to be a part of.
Jo-my door is always open whenever you want to come to DC.
Mary-you can order a wreath for $15 from the Wreaths Across America project on-line.
Bill-thanks for stopping by. Check out the project and think about contributing to buy a wreath for next year.
Kathy-I can't even imagine what it takes to make all of the wreaths. They are live greenery.
Gerry-just standing in this spot and looking across the cemetery can bring tears to your eyes. Seeing it filled with volunteers ready to spend a few hours honoring our fallen and departed mililtary is an inspiration.
