Getting Published Online

By
Real Estate Agent with Solid Source Realty 277955

I read about getting published online a few months back and decided to give it a try.  I wrote an article about Georgia Foreclosures and the foreclosure process in Cobb County and submitted the article.  It took a few weeks to publish (probably because I cheaped out and went with a free service), but sure enough it is online.

The response is not quite as I expected.  I figured there would be a flood of traffic to my site (http://www.buyhawkeye.com), there was not.  I figured once published, I would not see anymore traffic after the supposed flood.  That was also incorrect.  Instead, it has been a slow and steady flow of traffic that has only recently begun to dry up.  Solution?  I submitted another article!

As for the quality of traffic, I still can't speak for it.  But visitors are generally a good thing so I will contine to publish the occassional article for that alone.

As always, I would love to hear from the membership of their experience in regards to article publishing.  Please comment!

I have a bunch of articles... ok, 8 articles... on Ezine.  It was pretty easy to get set up, and the traffic is good.  they also allow syndication with attribution.  What I have found with my articles is that the traffic builds.  Glad you are having luck...

Michael:

I have used prbuzz.com.  Recently, it is looking a little spammy.

Hi David, I believe it is about consistency, I have co-authored a book in 2008 and we continue to sent out press releases and blogs (using PR news wire) we have received even some speaking engagements that way. But I believe it is important to show consistency.
