What is Christmas without seeing "A Christmas Carole?! Our local station, KTAR, in Phoenix is Hosting "A Christmas Carole" this Tuesday, 12/13/11, 7:00 pm, 203 West Adams Street, Phoenix, AZ 85003 at the Historic Orpheum Theatre. What a treat!

Jan, did you know this is the most remade movie of all time? I just read that fact in one of my trivia books. I wonder if it's because it gives us so much to think about how we treat others and how other actually see us?
Thanks for commenting Juli. No, I had no idea that this was remade so many times. Of course I should have guessed as there are so many You Tubes of this movie. I wanted the original and I hope that this was it! The movie does teach us one of the most important lessons of all time, treat others how we want to be treated. You're dead on as usual! I love this movie. Remade or not, it is the best movie for the season. I have found that my appreciation of the film increase with the older versions of the film. Thanks for finding and posting the 1953 version. Christmas really is about giving back and being thankful for the many blessings we have and enjoy as well reaching out to those in need.
