Staging Statistics

By
Home Stager with Real Estate Staging Association

RESA has had a survey going in the last few months and here are some of the results.

If you would like to contribute to the survey you can take the survey here:

Staging Business Trends Survey

Click Here to take survey This survey focuses on the business trends of professional home stagers.

We also are tracking staging statistics on how fast staging helps sell homes. these results are not that promising. As they stand right now staging is helping sell in less than 40 days but most selling for less than asking. Here are those results click here

If you would like to enter your statistics on houses you have staged and they have sold please do so here. Please continue to enter your stats each time a listing sells so we can report accurate information.

Interesting survey but I am not sure how I can use this to convince people to stage their home. It tells me more about stagers and their training.

When I looked at the stats I noticed that only 23 people answered the questions. And for the question on how many days on market the home sold only 3 answered. To me this is not enough info to go on to call it a valid statistic.  Maybe I am reading this wrong??

I would need to see a larger pool of information. How do groups like Staged Homes get their information?

STATISTICS... ahhhhh, obviously a PASSION of mine!

There are so many ways to "crunch numbers"1

So having good a good sound basis like SIF's Quarterly Qwik Staging Stats (QSTAT) and all RESA is undertaking will help champion all of our desires to "Stage It Forward".

THANKS as always,

Me

Cali

there are two surveys. 1 For how stagers work and that will help the stager 2. is the statistics. Currently I dont recomend using any of these as we do not have enough data. I posted this in order to get more stagers to input stats. The issues with stats is that we cant MAKE  someone report them. So hopefully between RESA and leaders like Craig encouraging stagers to report their stats this will help.

These statistic's are great for owner's of Home Staging businesses.  The marketing and pricing questions helped me to see where I stand upon my colleagues.  Thanks for sharing.
