14 Comments on Staging A House So It All Connects
This is absolutely beautiful and very well-done! I love it! I love those huge windows.
Wow, David - an incredible job at making this home look its best! Beautiful work - and gorgeous pictures!
Hi David--you had some difficult issues to address with this house's floor plan. You did an amazing job. The house is so welcoming and cohesive now.
David - Great problem solving! You've made large, cavernous spaces seem warm and inviting. That extra breakfast bar in the kitchen is crazy. Great idea to use 2 different seating styles to differentiate the island from the side bar!
Brilliant idea to create a "wall" behind the bed using window treatments! What a beautiful home!
Kristi ~ Thanks. The windows are pretty fabulous and make for a wonderful living room.
Karen ~ Thank you!
Janet ~ Every house presents it's own challenges - and that's part of the fun, isn't it? Thanks for your comments.
Sally ~ Thanks for stopping by. It was the first time we'd seen a kitchen like this one for sure.
Sharon ~ It is a beautiful home and the master bedroom needed something a little more special to help it stand out.
I could sit and stare at your after pictures all day long. Seriously. The sellers must be blown away with the transformation.
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.
Kathy
David you have once again done an amazing job on this property. The living room area is my favorite. Enjoy the holidays.
Beautiful staging, as always, David! That master bedroom could have been really tricky for buyers to figure out where to place furniture. You made it elegant and easy for them to fall in love with this space!
David.....like Sally I noted the "2" bars in the Kitchen! New one on me too! GREAT solution for sure! And the rest of the home....SMASHING!
Kathy ~ Thanks for your nice compliments and the feature! The sellers loved the transformation. Now we just have to sell it!!!
Wendy ~ Appreciate your comments. The living room is a beautiful room. And you may not have noticed the fireplace connects to an outdoor living space as well!
Diana ~ The bedroom was tricky and the sellers assumed the bed would go on the small wall with one bedside table. The staging solution turned out to really add value to the home and make the master feel like a master.
Kathy ~ Thank you! It's a lot of space to eat in the kitchen for sure!
HI David, the master bedroom seemed small in proportion to the rest of the rooms in the house. Creating a wall of drapery made sense and increased the interest in the bedroom. The living room done with the two gold wing chairs really brought everything together. It's remarkable how two chairs can make a very long length of drapery seem more approachable in human terms. Super work as always.
Fabulous work as always! I especially love that you took the master bedroom drapes to the ceiling -- most people would have stopped at a standard height which wouldn't have given it the sophisticated look it needed!
Michelle ~ Thanks for your comments - and you've identified the biggest challenges with the house - small master and custom draperies. By the way - the home just sold!
Margaret ~ The master bedroom drapes really changed the feel of the room and it no longer felt small and not up to the scale of the rest of the home. Thanks for stopping by!
