There are plenty of great reads out there on short sales! Some written by Realtors, others by lenders and more by lawyers. But have you ever seen anything written by the actual homeowner of a house that was sold as a short sale? I didn't think so!
A woman named Jane Evers invested in two condos back in 2005 certain she'd be able to turn them around a few years later and help fund her retirement. In 2009, things got out of hand and she found herself upside down with these two condos as well as her main residence. She had no other choice but to sell one of the condos as a short sale - and did so successfully! In 2010 she decided to let the other condo go as a Short Sale and it closed this past August.
During her journey into short sales, Jane could find no resources written from the point of view of the homeowner in distress. She decided to write an eBook to help other homeowners who are facing a short sale understand the process, procedures, stress and success that comes along with selling a short sale.
