We can help each other move up in local Rankings. I spent time yesterday at Rain Camp for me I am always learning something from someone.
Hopefully this help you and we can share the wealth. Google has 66% of all search activity. If you have a like button on your blogs like I do this will help you. Clicking the like button gets the article you like higher in the search engines because Google recognizes the code as readers liking the article.
You can't really impact your own article by clicking the like but because of your IP address. Google knows who you are and does not count your vote. The Google Plus sign will move you up in the rankings for you local market and media content as well.
This is where we can help each other. Your articles I am going to leave a comment but I am also going to click the like button on your post. If you have written an article for consumers as well as real estate agents watch your ranking for this article. Activerain has great ranking ability and adding this to your posts will increase the value to your post in readers and in the search engines eyes.
Think about the keywords used in your article. 3 to 5 keywords is all you need. Make sure your article flows, has photos to help it captivate and use a Title that catches the headline skimmer and ranks within the content area the article is focused.
I just finished one of my masters classes on SEO.Debe Maxwell was one of the presenters yesterday in Rain Camp with some great content. One of her focal points was keywords. I smiled when she mentioned "stuffing" keywords into you articles and blogs. If you over emphasize your business name, what you do or anything else you think will rank
in search engines, you probably just put the kiss of death on your post or article. Google changed their algorithm about 3 weeks ago. They will devalue your information for spamming or stuffing words into your article.
Google, Yahoo and Bing (MSN) along with some smaller search engines are learning they rate based on the quality of content delivered back to the person searching. So they are looking for relevant and content both. What are you looking for when you search? Relevance to what you are searching for and content to answer your query.
Now you can see why that like button is becoming important and the Google+ button will have the same effect.
You will need a Gmail account. You may think you have Facebook why worry about Google+ and it's circles. Remember I told you first! This is business and you can impact your ratings and business if you do this right. The other issue, it's not that important today. Tomorrow you could be on the second page because someone worked the magic the button has to offer. Google + went from zero to millions of users in 3 months. It took Facebook 3 years to get the same number of users. Somebody is seeing the value.
Click the like button when you read one of my blog posts or articles. Leave a short review with the Google + button and I will visit your site and do the same.
Christmas came early if you use these tips you will see yourself rise in search engines. Remember your keywords. For example. I working the Grand Rapids Real Estate Market. My goal for getting a Masters in Website Design and Search Engine Marketing was to increase exposure for my customer listings to buyers so my listing sell faster. Generate more leads, increase my market share using technology.
Search engine rankings will get you more sales because it will help you generate more leads and contacts.
I must admit I am late to the game but...I am learning the professional side with a masters degree in what will take advantage of technology and market trends.
Buyers and Sellers use search engines first before calling you or me. I want my phone number to be the one being called. If I can help you have your phone number called first in your area all the better!
