YouTube Thursdays returns this week with the focus on seasonal variety. If you haven't joined our video marketing group, please do so today. We're here to share ideas, videos and tips on video marketing and our YouTube channels. Press the icon and join - we welcome your input and questions.

In celebration of December, these videos bring us winter from various locales. One features a property tour on a snowy day in Maine, another takes us on a tour of small town holiday celebrations around Charlotte, North Carolina, and finally, a we travel to Wasilla, Alaska to see a tiny reindeer. It's my hope that these Rainers give you some ideas and spark your own creativity. As for videos - as Nike says, "Just Do It."

Andy Mooers brings us a piece of property in Maine, if you don't have time to watch the entire three minutes, please fast forward to his Moose Tagging scene near the end - it's a fun twist and brings humor and fun to this charming video. Please subscribe to his YouTube Channel.

Carol Fox does a great job taking us on a tour and showcasing all of the holiday charm and festivities in the small towns around Charlotte, North Carolina. Please subscribe to her YouTube Channel.

Finally, when you live next door to a "Reindeer Farm in Alaska," you have to make a video for the holidays. Larry and Jacque Ficek bring us a baby reindeer in Wasilla, Alaska. ( I want one!) Please subscribe to their YouTube Channel.

You do a great job of encouraging agents to create videotours for their listings. We find the YouTube videos a great tool to provide to relocation buyers.

Debb~If there could be a male version of how soothing and comfortable YOUR voice is, it would be Andy's! I looked at all 3 minutes. He took what could have been a very boring view of bald trees and land and made it interesting... (I loved the line, "it's just a whisker shy of a 115 acres!) I have to tell him what a great job he did.

I didn't get a chance to look at Carol's, but couldn't resist the all-too-quick video of the baby, I want one, too!! And I loved the adult with all of the furry antlers in the background. Takoda and the Reindeer Gayle Rich-Boxman

Very good selection of videos. These videos all fit the holiday season so well. Your personal video was excellent. Somehting tells me that mac is very spoiled and probably runs the household from an attention standpoint.

Hey Jerry, that's cool with me. I see you and I both featured Andy today - he has produced so many videos - he obviously has had great success with his video marketing too. ( He was recently quoted in Realtor Magazine).

Hi Gayle, Andy also has a broadcasting/news background. Perhaps you knew that. ;) I agree he has a unique style and I'm sure it's quite reflective of his market. You should take a look at his videos as they might give you ideas for Fishhawk Lake. He uses natural sound very effectively - I'm a big fan of that.

Good eye spotting the adult reindeer - they are cute...thanks for the photo of Takoda - Mac would chew it up. :)

Debb ... Thanks for the kudos, together this group's video marketing of the local area, the individual listings and easy does it agent/broker branding will get better and better. Videos increase your position, chances for a front page search engine index landing by 50%. WARNING: You're biggest critics won't be doing videos but over in the corner taking pot shots, tee heeing. But not for long as your videos get better at connecting, engaging your buyers. Videos done right are what your buyers want to get in to a property, around a community any time of day or night. Whoa, that's powerful. What is special about your area, why do you live, work, play there? That's one big suggestion cookie jar for the basic videos needing to be shot, edited, uploaded.

As for Alaska women - don't worry, I used to be one. Always appreciate your visits Richard, and I never forget the one who encouraged me to do videos in the first place.
