My Website creator, Gutinsite.com created this verbiage on SEO. They helped set our website to new leaps and bounds and I thought I would share with you:
Whatsearch engines see
Since the birth of the web, we've all heardthe term "keywords". These are words that you can put on your page in aplace that only search engines can see, called meta tags. Below are thethree common meta tags you should know about, and how to use them.
Browser title
This is your pages title. Youcan change this in your Page Settings as illustrated in the graphic above. This title should include all of your keywords or key phrases for thatpage, and as little stop words as possible. Stop words include: "the""and" "is" etc. Put the most important keyword or phrase first in thetitle.
Searchengine description
The description is what comes up in thesearch engines when your page is found. If there is no description tag, google will use the first paragraph of text on your page. Fill thedescription with meaningful text that will be helpful to users. Use yourkeywords here as well, but don't "stuff" them, meaning, use them only onceor twice here.
Searchengine keywords
Use only three keywords or key phrases perpage, separated by a comma. Use them in the same order as your title, usingthe most important one first. Do not put more then three keywords or keyphrases here.
Content is king
Of course you can only get sofar with the meta tags mentioned above, you need to have useful compellingcontent. We suggest having between 250-750 words per optimized page that'sorganized using h1 and h2 tags.
