Glad you got to particpate and got a t-shirt. Too bad that it is coming to an end.
This was a fun show to watch; I'm sorry to hear that it was cancelled. Much better than Jersey Shore (which I believe is still on the air).
I heard that today and felt badly as I too enjoy this well planned beneficial program. Maybe they will change their mind on the show if enough people send their thoughts to the television programming powers that be!
Joan I volunteered. I got a T-shirt. I did not get to participate. Through a series of events a few of us ended up on the site without T shirts. We got T shirts late that night when they got us back to the place we should have got Tshirts so we could participate.
We got T-shirts then.
Melissa and MaryBeth I am not sure if I ever saw a full episode of the show. Thanks for the comments.
I've seen a bit of these locally as well. That's great to have something like this locally!
Larry Hats off to the local builders who got involved in this! P & D Builders put a lot into this!
I have never made it back over to see the house, this neighborhood is pretty far away from where I live and work. I went the first day and it was not fun standing around in the heat but unable to participate because we were sent over without T-shirts. I went back and gave blood at the Red Cross a few days later because that was part of the opportunities to get involved. I did not go back to "move the bus".... there was info online during the event so I saw some photos. The house looks amazing. Huge and totally out of place in the neighborhood but amazing.
