Three Strikes, You're Out!

Three Strikes, You're Out!

Yesterday I tried to show a condo in North Dallas.  We never got inside. Here's why:

Strike #1:

The directions in MLS said "From Preston go east on Arapaho".

It's WEST from Preston Road.

Strike #2:

The directions in MLS also said "2nd entrance on north side".

The second entrance is a locked gate that is neither an entrance nor an exit.

Strike #3:

The combination to the combination lock box did not work.

So, your listing is no longer on my client's list.

Ouch - that selling agent really needs a kick in the pants.  I see it all the time. I hope this isnt the only way they earn their living - oh, thats the point.

Sounds like the instructions that they give to find the lost Dutchman's gold mine...to this day, it still stays lost

There's nothing like getting to a listing and the key wont work. And God forbid the listing agent from taking your call...Hope your people found something nice.

Yes, it happens too frequently. The biggest shame is that the Seller has chosen the wrong person to help them sell, and they probably don't realize it. If only the Seller understood that much better options exist.

How frustrating, Lorrie! This happens all too frequently.  I hope your clients found some properties of interest.
