Hi Everyone,
Some folks are at a point in their business of deciding what is the best use of their time & are you in a position of hiring an assistant and possibly a buyer's agent?
The answer to the question is easy, when you feel stressed, frustrated and feel that you can't manage another listing or buyer, it's time to get an assistant. Lead generating is basic, when your not doing it you lose! You have to be available to take listing appointments and establish relationships.
You know when you are making decisions that infringe on family time or your priorities it's time. You can get back to basics and increase your business when the paperwork & appointment making is off your plate.
I used to be a long distant runner and I always go back to what it took to run 6-10 miles a day. The first discipline was to run everyday. The second was to understand what it was going to take to keep my body in shape to run, oil for the body "water" and a balanced diet.
Easy enough, I had the discipline rain or shine, I had to drink a bunch more water and energy foods to keep up the distance. If one of those things were out of balance so was I, running was a chore and difficult, it certainly wasn't fun. I didn't enjoy the run and wasn't good company when running with others.
The key is efficiency and having the goal in mind. What does it take to accomplish your goal? You certainly can feel success and you can also sense when your are not working efficiently. Do what it takes to have your business in shape and running efficiently.
p.s.
I did run in California, had great weather and beautiful places to run, just like in real estate. This is one of the best places to live and sell real estate beautiful Shasta County & Redding.
CUrt,
Great BLog. I'm in that situation right now. I feel like I"m too busy to take any more on, but still not making the $$ I'd want, to hire a buyers agent, (to take some of that $ away). However, I'm an athlete too...Professional Golfer , and I know, you've got to invest in the future to get where you want to go!
I also feel like I want to stay where I'm at now...since my son only has 1 more year in HS left. Once he's gone to college, then I can go full speed ahead!
