2011 December Blogging Challenge--Over the Hump.....

Half and half, actually. I find myself busier than ever this time of year: clients, working on stuff, new ideas, parties, etc. I wish I had more time to work on setting up next year, though I'm not complaining!

Deborah, some days are easier than others. lol. Writing down what has been done each actually makes me realize how much I am doing so it's encouraging.

I can see how one person's plans for the next year might be boring.  I have learned a lot from other people's plans and this contest has brought a focus to my own plans I wouldn't have believed possible. 

I have looked at my tech stuff and made several upgrades NOW instead of waiting for the future or until I could better afford it or (fill in the blank with the excuse of the month). 

I am doing Anna's bussiness plan and together these are going to make my business better in the coming year. 

Hi Deborah...you are right this is a Challenge....Gesh and Christmas is only 2 more sleeps. I have posted here but not sure I qualify for 5 a week, but I tried.

Hi Deborah!  It's Dec 23rd and I hope you're enjoying your holiday!!!  I must admit it's been a challenge for me to keep up with between being in and out of town all month.  But so far it's been a blast working on the Business Planning for 2012 - BTW - thanks for the shout out!  I think quite a few folks are finding it helpful - and it's good for me too!

Deborah, it's been hard due to some personal challenges. Having my Dad in the hospital for the entire month and having my Mom stay with us has certainly impacted my time. 2011 though was a good year for me. I'm not as busy as I was this same time last year, but much of that ending up going no where. I have a couple of clients poised and ready to resume looking once the holidays are over. Hopefully there are others with that same mindset ;) Merry Christmas.

It's been very helpful.  Our office was really empty this past week.  My instincts are to keep the business going especially with all the economic rumblings.  We feel very support from this group.  Also, have thought about business building each day as well as coming into the office.   I love it!  Thank you, Deborah!  Happy Holidays!!  Kristine :)

Deborah, it honestly hasn't been as difficult as I initially expected it to be and I'm thrilled that I'm creating a new daily blogging habit.  Over the last 27 days, I've been able keep my focus on building my 2012 business, re-connect with several AR members that I'd lost touch with, get a very nice referral and also received two buyer leads.  Good stuff!

I have been learning and it has made sure that i make the effort for me to get going with all this posting of local things that i want to share in my area. I know that the more I do this the better I will get. This is the idea behind all of the work here, so I certainly should make the effort to get as much in as possible.

Almost done now!  Some days I hated this challenge, but overall it's been good. I probably would have taken off a lot more time without entering it. I have gotten going on a couple things I've been meaning to do for a long time, and took a risk on a new idea, due to having the mindset of doing SOMETHING every day to generate business.  I think that's a good thing.

And anyone who thinks these posts are 'clogging up' the 'system' don't understand much about the internet, IMO.

Hi Deborah, I think this was a great idea. It has actually been an accountability blog for me. I actually have to make sure I'm doing something for 2012, and it has not been easy because I usually kick back this time of the year. Thanks for the kick in the pants.
