2000 Blogging points a week?

Points are only semi important to me on AR. I know that the more points that I earn the better my blogs SEO will be. I just did not realize until just now that I can only earn points on the first 10 weekly blogs.

More important to me than points is rich content. Whn I first began blogging I had no clue where to begin. I felt like I was walking blind without a dog. Luckily I kept at it and I think I have a pretty good grasp on blogging now.

I have also gained invaluable insight into this business from many more points of view than just the lenders side of it all. It really helps to know what the general concensus is with regard to the way that other professionals like to be approached. I am getting a referral almost every single day. I can't do the financing on every scenario but there are a good number of scenario's that I can handle. And of course I appreciate the business.

I was not getting nearly as many referrals prior to joining AR. Now I can't say that AR has done it for me exclusively by way of SEO, but what it has done is given me insight into the way that other professionals in related industries whom I work with work.

In additon to the insight that I have gained the SEO has been real nice:)

Great information is available here at ActiveRain and I think that is the beauty of the site.

Christopher, Blogging has helped me consider other views on daily problems that face us as Realtors. Some fun, some funny, and some downright boring. Anyway I think blogging toward richer text is really the direction to go. I just am winding my way through the path. Thanks for the post.

Gaylen - There is a lot of great information here. You do have to sift through it because some of the information is bunk. Of course that is something beautiful about this site as well. This platform is a free exchange of information and viewpoints which is incredibly beneficial to all of us.

KC - I am glad to hear it. It ghas helped me so much to. I come on here and ask real questions that I need real answers to. Often times I get the answers relatively quickly. There is a lot of information to wade through, but those diamonds are out there too.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I blog to provide valuable information for consumers. I don't think consumers care about the amount of points you have.

Sandy - I have to say that I agree. Consumers do not care about how many points you have. However the more points you have the more consumers will see you. Thanks for the comment.

Kris - Yes you get more by way of positioning yourself as an expert. As far as points I don't think that they will give more than 2000. I think that all of my blogs have content, including this one, but it did not score me any points as I knew it would not.

I stand corrected, this blog earned 26 points. Hmm ... So I guess that have a rating system for content.
