If you like Auctions and supporting worthy causes....have I got an activity for you! Come to our Second Annual Fund-raising Auction held in support of The Parent Information Center (PIC) a Non-Profit that has supported Families who have a child with a disability for over 30 years!

The Auction will be held: 6:00-9:00 PM Free Admission

Actually Tom one of the auction items are tickets to the Blue Man...I've never seen them but have heard they are terriffic!

Joan, This looks like a very well organized auction that will be lots of fun and for a very good cause.

My brother has a son with cerebral palsy (due to birth difficulties) and it costs a fortune to provide all of the necessities to make his life comfortable. Fortunately my brother and sister in law are very well-off and can afford the motorized scooters, elevators (they had one installed in their city home), special therapies, etc that Trevor needs, however most children with special needs are not this fortunate.

I hope there is a huge turnout for this...my, you put a lot of work into this post and it shows !

Hi Jo...this is a terriffic organization. They provide free education for familys and help as liasons with schools. They helped us a lot when my son was younger.

They are fabulous people. (some of the stuff is from their web site...I can't take total credit...even though I helped solicit the donations!) Check out the one at the top...Sul Mare...it's my Brothers place!

Joan, Your brother's restaurante looks fabulous ! What a menu !!! If I lived in that area I would likely become a regular as I see he even serves dishes for vegetarians and people with special dietary needs (I'm a vegetarian and also have wheat and dairy allergies so it's extremely hard to find a place to eat out). Italian is my favourite food of all...I buy pasta made with brown rice flour.
He must be very talented .....just like his big sister !
