Motivational Power Quote

Opportunity Seized is an Opportunity That Multiplies

“Opportunities multiply as they are seized,

they die when neglected.”

John Wicker, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Opportunity seized is an opportunity that multiplies

There are many opportunities that come into our lives some we gasp and run with, that can create greater opportunities. And there are many opportunities that we look at and we don’t recognize the potential of the opportunity and the opportunity passes by.

I would like to share an interesting story that started a few years ago.

The real estate professional received a call from a young couple that wanted to buy their first home.

The professional normally worked in a higher priced market and rarely worked with first time home buyers but found the buyers very engaging on the telephone. She asked the buyers why they decided to call her and they replied that they liked information on her web-site. Also they felt she was knowledgeable about the market.

When real estate professional met the customers they hit to off and the professional successfully helped the couple buy their first home.

From that one sale the couple have referred and continues to refer customers to her and the referral have became customers and also are referring customers to her as well.

One telephone call from a first time buyer started a chain reaction and has opened the door to a new sphere of influence and multi million of dollars worth of business.

Now for the rest of the story: the sales professional that sold the couple their first home specialized in the million dollar plus market. In the last year the couple’s parents purchased a $4,500,000 home from the real estate professional.

An opportunity seized is a opportunity that multiplies.

Lou,

Advertising classes in college, was always taught, "Word of mouth is the least expensive and most effective form of advertising."

Word of mouth can also make or break, if those words are not favorable. Always be careful what your project to not just customer/clients, but everyone.

I have never heard this saying, but it makes great sense. It is like my giving two referrals to AR mortgage brokers in different states. One of them sent me a testimonial.
