Bragging-Rights Tournament o' the Year 2007

Heeeeere we go again!

It's time to place your bets - the last Tournament was back in 12/06 - luckily the wounds have healed.

This year myself and Jason Price will be dueling it out over 18 holes at the newly re-designed North Palm Beach Country Club. Long time area resident Jack Nicklaus is responsible for the new layout - it's the first time I'll be playing on one of his courses - it should be no problem for a player of my, ah, skill level.....

We're expecting quite a large turnout - especially from our adoring fans in Long Beach, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral and West Virginia.

Rumor has is that Price will be showing up with a brand-new set of custom clubs. I, however, will only be bringing a 5-iron because 'pros' like myself can make one club do everything.

Watch out, those West Virginia fans can get rowdy!! Hang onto your couches and bikini tops!!

Marc, Good luck. I have not played that course since they re did it. I hear it is pretty tough though. Better get it in now before the prices change

Marc, good luck in the golf tournament. Our company sponsors a golf tournament every year -- maybe you should think about coming down for it next year! :)

Yeah - you never know what to expect from those WV people- but it makes things more fun!

No kidding - the prices in the main part of the year are a bit steep for public golf! There's a LOAD of water too......

I'd love to go - but I think that I might need to start playing a little better before I go 'on the road'.

I've been playing for about 20 years and I've managed to get worse every year!

Front 9 score:

Jason won 7 holes and finished up 3 strokes under Marc

Back 5 score (thanks to slowest players to ever play golf and the fact that it gets dark earlier):

Holes tied 2 1/2 and Jason finished up an additional 2 strokes under Marc

Shoot out to determine who won match play was determined by putting on the practice green

Jason won by 1 on the shoot out.

Final score: Jason won match play with 10 1/2 holes and stroke play with 5 strokes under Marc's score.

I will leave Marc to discuss the rest of the story... :) And thanks to all those who showed up.
