I can tell you who they are and will but I think it would be fun to see if any Sleuths know who they are.
The old car is great. The happy smiles of the boy and girl are great. And look at the thick wavy hair on the guy. She has on a fashionable cowl-necked dress with a sashed waistline and looks all dressed up.
I can't quite make out the thing in the background, can you? Is it the rest of the car???
Luke and Don, the two of you make a good team. Luke, it looks like a two door car that opens the wrong way! Suicide indeed. The others were four-door, were they not?

Mighty handsome couple...definately before my time...I would say they are dressed up...tie and all...Is her hair cut short or pulled up? Either way lovely...it looks pulled up to me...I sure wish I knew how to do that if it is. I'm going to keep watching...hopefully someone will post a current picture of this lovely couple.
Debbie, I guess the sleuths are all sleeping. No one has named these people yet. I think I'll wait a while longer and see if they wake up.
First of all, I am not asleep, I am in Rogersville, Alabama catching catfish on Joe Wheeler Lake......within spitting distance from a nuclear plant. Every time we make a move in the boat, a truck drives up and down watching us, and my son says there are men up in these towers that are everywhere....watching our every more.
I'm with Gene: the woman is very familiar to me, but not the man. I don't think the woman is Winnie, as the man is NOT "Po Dunk"....

Billy Fuller! You got it. It is Charles and Virginia Lovell. They were long-time marrieds and died within months of each other about two years ago. Their son, Butch, has some more great old pictures on facebook.
