I'll Think About That Tomorrow!

I'll Think About That Tomorrow!

Southern Plantation

One of my favorite movies is "Gone With the Wind".  I love the line Miss Scarlett always says when things get tough, "I'll think about that tomorrow!"  How nice it would be if we could do that in real estate!  While I would feel safe in saying that real estate transactions are not a life or death situations, we do have to act and perform in a very timely fashion.

There are many instances when the "timing is of the essence" comes into play.  For the most part, the agents that I work with are very diligent about being timely.  A few times however, we run into those who simply drag their feet throughout the entire process of a transaction.

While "thinking about things tomorrow" worked for Miss Scarlett, it is not always the wise thing to do in real estate.  Sure we all need days off and this makes being timely all the more important.  Get done today what you need to in order to allow yourself that precious time off.

If you are looking for a professional agent who will diligently represent you and work on your transaction in a timely and professional manner.  There is no time for shoddily executed contracts.  You need to know that your real estate agent is working diligently to insure that all parts of the transaction are going smoothly and within the proper deadlines!

Call me today!  I would enjoy visiting with you about our real estate market in and around The Woodlands, Texas!

Paula, you have a valid point. We do not have emergencies in Real Estate - and that sure does not mean 'Time is of Essence' is not valid. In fact, most contracts do have this clause/statement: 'Time is of Essence'.

Hi Paula,

The urgency is relentless.

Those that don't have it miss out.

Time is of the essence really is the norm in real estate

I think making the most of each day keeps us open to productivity and opportunity.  Any chance to peruse the unedited copy of my book?  g

That's a good motto, "Get done today what you need to in order to allow yourself that precious time off."  It sure cuts down on deadline panic.
