This weekend, Nov 10-11 is the Las Vegas Air Show, Aviation Nation. It's held at Nellis Air Force Base each Veterans Day weekend and is free to the public. There is a $3 donation for adults and $1 for children under the age of 10, to ride the shuttle from the parking lots to the Air Force base. 
There will be many air show demonstrations including the Thunderbirds . They are based out of Nellis and this is their annual end of the season homecoming. If you have never seen the Thunderbirds, it is an amazing show! If you have seen them, you can never see them too many times. The Wings of Blue will be doing parachute demonstrations. On the ground, there will be airplanes on display, some of which you can tour. There will be rare airplanes as well as a Las Vegas Metro helicopter and quite a few military aircraft.

So, gather up the kids, the sunscreen and sunglasses and head to Nellis Air Force Base for 2 days of breathtaking entertainment in the skies and on the ground.
