This afternoon i was the invited guest to speak to 30 young college people and here is the top five list that i shared with them:
1. LAW OF THE HARVEST... THE SECRET...LAW OF ATTRACTION: There ae many ways to package it but the truth is we reap what we sow and positive thinking and a positive attitude really make a difference.
2. KNOWLEDGE AND HARD WORK LEAD TO CONFIDENCE AND CONFIDENCE LEADS TO SUCCESS: I learned this business truism from the stockbrokers at Goldman Sachs.
3. FAITH AND OBEDIENCE LEADS TO HAPPINESS: Sometimes happiness may be out farther on the time line than we might like, but this formula is tried and true.
4. CHARACTER AND COMPETENCE LEAD TO SUCCESS: Whether the goal is a job, career, marriage, team or new listing, Buffini has it right. There is no substitute for these pieces of the puzzle.
5. BALANCE MATTERS: Physical, mental, emotional, social- balance is critical to enjoying the harvest.
It was a great occasion to share this with young people. Hopefully several of them will have the advantage of standing on our shoulders and peering out farther and higher than we did.
