Snoopy House Moves to Costa Mesa City Hall

Just a few weeks after Wells Fargo foreclosed on Snoopy House, Snoopy has a new home.

The City of Costa Mesa volunteered the use of its front lawn as Snoopy's new home. So, Jim Jordan along with many volunteers was able to move the display from its old location in Eastside Costa Mesa to its new home at Costa Mesa City Hall.

The display has all of the old favorites and a new light show on the City Hall building. According to the City, they are hoping to make this an annual event.Snoopy House

As usual, Santa will visit the Snoopy House from 7pm to 9pm from December 18-23.

It may have a new location, but Jim is still there visiting with the guests and enjoying the joy he has created in others for the past 45 years.

Talking with this gentleman who has brought his magic to so many shows just how warm and caring he is. He started the display when he was just 14 years old and has continued it until today.

As always, there is also free cider, and if you're so inclined, you can stop by and pick up a t-shirt.

Susan-  It's quite an event.  I even have a very poor quality video that I shot years ago that I posted yesterday because an LA news station picked it up.

Thanks for the update Christine.  I'm glad the city came through and helped keep this family favorite alive for its residents.
