Well today was not the busiest day for business producing activities. I got a buyer lead from my listing and I refered her to a loan officer to get pre- approved. Will be following up with her tomorrow.
Still have not heard from the people handling the transaction for my short sale purchase. The addendum clearly said that we would be using a particular title company, but for some reason they have not picked the local office they want to use. I'm getting really frustrated because we got approval for the offer/ contract 10 days ago, and it took the listing agent over a week to get the paperwork signed by the seller and uploaded into the system. I have a feeling that if I hadn't harassed him it could've taken even longer.
Now I understand that the short sale process takes longer than most because of lender approval, etc. But now that we have approval how come everything is still moving slow as snails?? Maybe I am not realising that the listing agent is slammed with other issues??? I dunno, but I would think the rest of the process should move a bit faster. Just my opinion. Well at least my buyer is being super patient :)
