December Blogging Challenge Day 21 How in the world did it get to be Wednesday? It wasn't like I have been sloughing off.
1. Early morning blog roll and comments. One post on the Decemebr Blogging Challenge. Am not keeing up with the localism posts this week.
2. Second meeting for new chapter of Professional Women's Business Network. We turned out 31 women - many first-timers for a breakfast meeting four days before Christmas. Great topic, great discussion, delicious breakfast. I am the Co-Leader for this group and am delighted with our progress. Details in a future post.
3. Presented preliminary info on listing a colleague's riverfront home. Will preview later in the week
4. Floor duty- the office is very quiet. Internet appointments have changed the dynamic, but appointments are still being made.
5. Am coordinating with buyer, seller, loan and title company to get a transaction closed by year end. This file was moved up at the request of the seller and we are scrambling. A very long lead time on the appraisal is mucking up the works. Very appreciative of all the parties working so heard to get this done. Will require constant attention over the holiday.
6. Am still trying to bring my buyer and seller together. Am beginning to doubt my abilities as a closer.
7. The rescheduled listing presentation happened yesterday. Am impressed and baffled by very young transferrees who still believe the world is their oyster. A relocation assignment and my marketing rivals few relocation specialists in my area. We'll see!
Not as full a day as I would have liked, but as full as I could take.
