My chat with Zillow

I decided to give Zillow a trial run for the first time a few weeks ago.  Ever since, I have been reading about all the complaints here on ActiveRain....  The biggest and newest complaint being the fact that anyone can write a review and post that review about an agent without ever working with that agent.  I wanted to know if that was true, so I called my rep.  Here is his response. "Zillow works hard in reviewing all reviews of our agents.  We screen all comments that are made, and we verify that the buyer actually did work with the agent they are reviewing, and if not, the remarks are taken down immediately.  The Zillow sales rep also said that the only way they can leave a review is if we, the agent, send them an email invitation to do so.  My other take away from our conversation was he mentioned that the reviews are read by Zillow's customer service before they are posted.  Any comments?

Yeah, seems like what happened here on AR & what they 'think' happened are 2 different things. I'd run as fast as I could if I were you.

I help brokers build businesses they love.

See my posts and J Phil Faranda's for more on this. Working with an agent, IMO, does not include sending in an inquiry. Happy Holidays!

To my ActiveRain friend,
I wish you all things bright and beautiful
at this holiday time and throughout the year.
