MAN WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE IN XMAS CHEER

He is well up in age, been around the block and absolutely doesn't believe with all his heart that people should rise to the occasion once a year every year to give, to care, and to watch over their fellow man. He was adamant about it, had a smile on his face when sharing, and spoke succinctly and without hesitation while visiting in a Christian store

HERE'S THE CRUX OF THE MATTER

After he finished explaining to me in no uncertain terms, I then repeated back to him."So, you don't believe in this special time of year the gift giving and being merry"..is that your position? He said yes, drew a deep breath and spoke the following:

CHRISTMAS IS A YEAR LONG THING

Christmas should be in your heart all year long. If I see someone who is in need, then I act upon it and I don't need to wait or hesitate. I was raised rather well off and I know what it is to have and I want people to have what they need. If I see that I can help I then get to helping. I have traveled overseas and across 48 states practicing this

SUFFERING AND PAIN

I have seen poverty, pain, suffering and huge needs and I did something about them for 65 years. I have my father to thank for that. Everywhere I went, people were glad to receive the help.

TWO HANDS BECAME ONE

I smiled, and a friendly force brought our hands up to where they clasped together and I was one with this man in a brief moment and remain a better man for it. He shared that he has never stopped celebrating Christmas
