21 Comments on Merry Christmas From Santa Fe, New Mexico
Beautiful photo, and your description makes me want to board a plane right now and fly to Santa Fe!! (I'm still pondering your last photo of the giant nest!) Merry Christmas!
Linda, thanks for stopping and seeing what the sun shines on Santa Fe. We are so different from Tampa, except for the sunshine. Have a terrific holiday weekend!
Francine, you can fly directly into Santa Fe on American Eagle from Dallas or other airlines into Albuquerque from just about anywhere. As for the giant nest in an earlier blog, the maker is still a mystery. I will keep you'll posted. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Make it great!
Emily,
Wow, you have a poet's soul, and I had goosebumps reading your description, and delight at that gorgeous picture of a wonderful tree.
Ron and I wish you a wonderful and merry Christmas and an outstanding New Year. We also want to thank you for your taking the time to comment on our post with insight, understanding and care. All the very best, A
Emily, That is a very beautiful photo! I want to wish you a very, Merry Christmas!
Emily, I visited Santa Fe a couple of years ago. The place is incredible! I long to return.
Emily, what a beautiful picture of a Santa Fe White Christmas! All the best! S.
Emily: Goose bumps, or even duck bumps here as well while reading your post. My heart finds more comfort in the feminine aspect of the Divine... whatever that is... so seeing and hearing (in my mind) your continuing to refer to this tree as "Her"... brought a tear to my eyes, as well. I "feel" things like that.
I just came from reading your sweet comment on my "subscribe or feature" post... and wanted to tell you that your comments mean so much to me. And... when I got here, after seeing your marvelous picture of the tree, and reading all about her... I noticed that you just bopped over the 200,000 point mark. Good for you.
You are so blessed being surrounded by your snow-and-pine-cone-decorated" trees. May you and the Girls have a Merry Christmas.
Ron & Alexandra, thank you so much! Your comments and most importantly your connection is a wonderful gift under my tree. May our paths continue to weave our friendship this coming year. Merry Christmas!
Tony & Darcy, thank you for visiting. Merry Christmas from Santa (Fe)!
Fred, it is time to return. New Mexico is turning 100 in 2012 while Santa Fe is rolling into its 402th birthday. Merry Christmas!
Silvia, what a tree with more lights than I can count! Thank you for sending a tree for tree. Merry Christmas!
Karen Anne, thank you! Pinyon trees (pinon pines) have roots in many Southwest Native American cultures. They are the tree of life. In my book, they are a "she" and easily recognized when you see their beauty thrive as a drought resistant tree. It takes years for them to grow. I am blessed to have some tall ones out my window. And I do appreciate our interaction here and friendship. I did suggest your "features and subscribe" post. Make this Christmas your best yet!
To my ActiveRain friend,
I wish you all things bright and beautiful
at this holiday time and throughout the year.
Leslie, what a wonderful Christmas tree. I love the way she sits as if celebrating for all the trees behind her. Merry Christmas and Feliz Navidad! May this coming year be your best yet! Thank you for your friendship here on ActiveRain. Emily
