My Broker, my Mentor and my dear Friend, Ross Domke has given me a gift and now I wish to share it with you. It has lifted me up and I wish to keep the inspiration going in all I do. Ross, has become a wonderful coach and motivational speaker. He has engaged with endless learning to inspire and bring opportunity to his agents and their business. He is the most dedicated person I know in his comittment to helping others.
His gift to me is the book "The GO-GIVER". Here is a quote off the cover of the book.
"Not since the Who Moved My Cheese? have I enjoyed a parable as much as this. You owe it to yourself to read "The Go-Giver and share its message with those who matter most to you. It is a beautiful book that will touch your soul and inspire your heart."--David Bach. #1 New York Times bestselling author, The Automatic Millionaire.
The book is written by Bob Burg and John David Mann. Here is their blog and here is an excerpt from the blog:
Excerpt......The Go-Giver tells the story of an ambitious young man named Joe who yearns for success. Joe is a true go-getter, though sometimes he feels as if the harder and faster he works, the further away his goals seem to be. And so one day, desperate to land a key sale at the end of a bad quarter, he seeks advice from the enigmatic Pindar, a legendary consultant referred to by his many devotees simply as the Chairman.
Over the next week, Pindar introduces Joe to a series of successful “go-givers”: a restaurateur, a CEO, a financial advisor, a real estate broker and “The Connector,” who brought them all together. Pindar’s friends share with Joe the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success and teach him how to open himself up to the power of giving.
Joe learns that changing his focus from getting to giving—putting others’ interests first and continually adding value to their lives—ultimately leads to unexpected returns.
Imparted with wit and grace, The Go-Giver is a heartwarming and inspiring tale that brings new relevance to the old proverb “give and you shall receive.”

I am very excited about applying the principles in this book or really just celebrating what we already know. We are this book and it is about all that we do and are. We live it daily and the time has come when more and more it will be recognized. I am so grateful for being aligned with good people and doing good work. It creates a field where all good things can happen. I firmly believe this and I live it.
So with that in mind, as my beautiful friend and Mentor has given to me, I would like to extend that out in a "Paying it Forward" tradition. I am forming a new group called "The Go-Givers" and I would like to invite you to join. Please join the group and make a commitment to buy the book and read it during the Holidays or afterwards!. For those that do, please share with us what the book means to you and how you will apply it or how it may impact your business in 2012.
Here is what I would like to do for you if you sign up for this challenge any time. I will buy you the companion book "It's Not About You". Just be one of the first five people that contribute a post about applying the principles of the book and planning great success in 2012 with the art of "giving" in mind. I am so excited and hope that it will be as meaningful to you as it is to me. I can feel the success of 2012 as a milestone year for good business practice and moving forward in all good things! THERE IS NO DEADLINE!
PLEASE DON'T LET THE CHALLENGE PREVENT YOU FROM JOINING THE GROUP. We will all prosper and share in 2012! This is a group about support and validating the principles of "giving".
