NORAD's Santa tracker - when will Santa be arriving on the East Coast?

TRACKING SANTA around the world

It's a quarter past 4 pm on Christmas Eve. The cookies are in the oven, all the presents are wrapped, stockings are hung and the house is clean (mostly). Now all that's left to do is wait for SANTA!

NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) is a tremendous help on Christmas Eve! Its Santa-tracker allows children to follow his path, Santa's journey around the world.

Santa already visited Australia, Asia and the Middle East - "just" Europe and another ocean left until he'll finally be arriving on the East Coast! My girls can't wait and are determined to stay up to welcome him to our house!

"The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:
the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other."

~Burton Hillis

Wishing you all a peaceful & magical Christmas with your families!

How fun, Andrea.  I watched the folks at Norad being interviewed this morning, and they are on the ball.  They had 1200 call screeners answering those much anticipated calls.  They know exactly how long it will be, and they even knew how many gifts he had left in Asia.  So, for the little Bedard ladies, be ready because he's coming!  Have a wonderful Christmas!

Andrea, wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!  I remember those times we were waiting for Santa as kids, or actually, for us it was waiting for the "Christkind", we didn't get to see the Christmas tree until the bell rang.  Frohe Weihnachten!

Mike: the girls are sound asleep in their beds but I'm sure they'll be up bright and early! Have a wonderful Christmas with your family!

Silvia: We didn't set up the tree until the morning of Christmas Eve, went out for a walk or sledding in the afternoon and when we came home we had always just missed Santa! Frohe Weihnachten!

Hi Eric: Thank you so much & only the best to you! I'm looking forward to seeing you around again - started to miss you!

Hi Jeanean: We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you did, too! It was pretty low-key since we don't have family close by but it was wonderful nonetheless. We were together and that's most important. The girls were in fully into it ... no doubts (yet) whatsoever! *phew*
