Two limousines and a Humvee from the 1st 69th Infantry Division led the procession as we traveled from the Merrick Golf Course at 2550 Clubhouse Road to the gazebo at the Merrick LIRR to kindle a grand 12 foot menorah. Hot latkes, Coffee, Music, Dancing, Jelly Donuts, Chanukah treats and Dignitary Greetings were enjoyed by everyone. 
Happy Hannukah, Jill. I am just about partied out. But, oh, what a great weekend!
I know what you mean. After a while, you start craving basic, oridinary food and a normal schedule.
Jill - we are still in the turkey left over stage with another turkey weekend coming up next weekend when the whole family is able to get together.

From Our House To Yours - Happy New Year
In 2012 I would Challenge each and everyone to reach out and touch someone be it as close as a neighbour going through a hard time to some one half way around the world. It does not matter if you donate to a local food bank, or travel halfway around the world to offer aid or assistance. If we all did Just One Thing To Make Someones New Year A Little Better A Little Brighter the world would be better for it and so would we. In today's global world with its instant communication of disaster and distress how can we not reach out.
Make This A Happy New Year For Someone Else.
