How do we look at people who may be temporilary down on their luck....and what may have caused that situation.

Doug, thank you for passing this one forward as I missed it initially. What it tells me is that anyone giving can be done in so many ways and a simple act of kindness is all about being human. I think this image will stay with me a long time.
Emily, this photo grabbed me so hard, in so many ways. I've printed it and put is on my bulletin board next to my computer as a reminder to me how fragile our lives can be. When I look at it, I wonder what situations brought this person to this stage of his or her life.
