December Blogging Challenge ~ Day Vingt-Cinq ~ Nursing a Cold...

 

    The world never stops turning and moss certainly doesn't gather on a rolling stone. With the end of the year coming upon us faster than a speeding train, I can ill afford to let something like a cold slow me down.

     Yesterday, and Saturday too, I plopped in the comfy chair, snuggled up in the blankie and chugged down all sorts of concoctions that smelled like and resembled witches brew; and didn't exert any physical energy other than to grab a cup or peck away on the keyboard. Amazingly, between checking the eyelids for holes and snoozers on the Chick-Flick channel, I got quite a bit done.

     One of the items on my plate was to generate a new backdrop for the Diehl Killerz episodes. Chroma key is not a perfect science and being in the industry of making movies, I can spot it in a heart beat. Like any art form, the backdrop one uses to key aginst is important. In order to save time in the keying process I spent several hours yesterday in Photoshop developing a new backdrop. It resembles the old backdrop except with some minor changes. Sadly, I had to regenerate the whole thing as when I developed the original, I merged the layers and could not reverse the process. (sigh) 

     Soon, it will be off to the office/studio to start shooting more episodes of Diehl Killerz. Look for a new episode to be posted on Thursday. Y'all have a great start to the work week. ...

Hi Michael,

I have a little bit of a cold. We got about a foot of snow here which stopped an inspection for the 24th. I'm going to that inspection today. I hope you get to feeling better.

Gene has been down with a bad respiratory cold and on an antibiotic..yesterday was the first day I could see marked improvement! He made it Christmas Eve but he crashed as soon as everyone walked out the door!
