12/26/2011 - After a lovely Christmas with family, I am preparing to get my head back in the game. Notice, I said preparing.... I'm not quite there yet. Today I am clinging to the last hours of respite while our offices remain closed for the holiday. You know the drill. Spending the day in your comfies. Playing with new toys while they still feel new. Finishing off the last of the pie, warming up the Christmas dinner left-overs. Yum!!
So with some effort, I now take a few minutes to rouse myself out of the post-festivities languor and think through the remainder of the week. This is my usual Monday morning routine: think through what must get done and pre-schedule my daily business-building activities for the week.
Well, it's Monday late-afternoon.... A little off-schedule, but getting it done, nonetheless.
Then, I'll watch just a few more Christmas movies, and say one more "Merry Christmas, Ellenwood, GA," before I let the season go... until this time next year.
