Round Rock ranks as one of America’s safest cities
City is 11th safest among U.S. cities population 100,000 or more
CQ Press has released its annual City Crime Rankings, and Round Rock ranks No. 11 among U.S. cities 100,000 population or greater. Round Rock is the second safest city in Texas with a population of 100,000 or greater. The crime rate rankings are calculated using six crime categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft. The rankings include all cities of at least 75,000 residents that reported crime data to the FBI in the categories noted for calendar year 2010.
